The Historical Stylist

Meet Bryan Fitzgerald and Casey Khik, owners of design store Chee Soon & Fitzgerald, who join curator Joanna Nicholas for an afternoon of insightful conversation about the process of styling the historic interiors of Elizabeth Bay House.

Using interior furnishings - textiles, trimmings, soft furnishings and decorative arts, both modern and vintage - Casey and Bryan will make 'interventions' in several rooms of Elizabeth Bay House, which is usually presented in the style of the Macleay family, who lived there in the 19th century.

Spend the afternoon exploring the juxtaposition of historical and contemporary interior design as the stylists and curator take you on a tour of the house, followed by a demonstration and talk on the creative and practical aspects of styling.
